CarolineS_drums Day 5

This morning I went to see a local jazz pianist to let him hear me play and see if he'd take me on for some piano lessons. It was fun and I've got some new chord voicings to work on for Autumn Leaves and Milestones. This afternoon I've been working on Sibelius Symphony No. 2 for a concert this Saturday - it's not looking possible to play it from the timpani part alone and I won't meet the orchestra until the concert day so I've been working through the full score.. I love the music but it's really challenging, it'll take practise! This evening I have a rehearsal with reggae band Big Bang Roots for a gig on Thursday.
